Coolvetica is a scratch built, sans serif font, based on an American chain store logos circa 1970. This was an era where everyone was modifying Helvetica. Not only for logo designs but even font designers were at it. The Photo Lettering Inc. catalog was loaded with playful helvariations.

Even Letraset chimed in with Shatter, Formula One & Isometric. Coolvetica recreates that 1970s custom display lettering look with really tight kerning and funky curls. The tails on the R and a have been left out to allow even tighter spacing. This is not a text font. Coolvetica is a pure display font, intended for big, funky headings and titles. The 1999 version of Coolvetica had a G with a swash tail. The current version still contains a swash G, but it’s accessed as a “stylistic alternate” in OpenType savvy applications. Coolvetica has class based kerning, math symbols, fractions and numeric ordinals.

White Christmas

Albion’s White Christmas font can only be described as a snow laden black letter typeface. We’ve taken black letter forms which emphasise (relative) simplicity and legibility, and then had great fun thinking where the snow might fall, drift and accumulate against them. The result is in the tradition of old childrens’ comics and magazine mastheads drawn specially ‘snowed’ for the December number, and speaks of those cosy vintage Christmas cards that bring back nostalgia for Christmases that are probably better than the real ones. Ebenezer is an eerie, highly detailed font with letterforms based on Goldburg.

 

Newcomen

Newcomen is a highly versatile titling face. Newcomen titling, in its default form, evokes the Victorian era and is named for the British inventor of a steam engine for pumping water. Newcomen’s flexibility is remarkable; it can alter the appearance of the face to either appear more dark and gothic, classical, include dots in the counters, and swash and “boxy” sets. Individual characters can also be selected and mixed and matched in OpenType capable applications for distinctive custom designs. Jaggy

The script designed for ParaType in 2006 by Isabella Chaeva. Based on informal handwriting. Its characters have rough jaggy contour; in small sizes the face simulates an effect of handwriting by felted pen on rough paper. For use in advertising and display typography.

HeyPumpkin

HeyPumkin is a letterbat font designed for use in the late autumn, when the leaves are falling and the harvest is underway. October 31 is an especially good time to use it.
